Q: What does Denier mean?
A: Denier is a unit of measurement used to determine the thickness of fabric fibers. The higher the number, the thicker and more durable the lace.

Q: Why do most of your wigs use 40 Denier lace?
A: We use 40 Denier for its strength and durability. Our wigs are made for stunt performers-so they need to hold up under pressure while still looking natural.

Q: Why use an all-lace base?
A: A lace base offers flexibility-you can resize it with a pleat or a cut, without bulky wefts getting in the way. It’s also lightweight and breathable, making it more comfortable to wear.

Q: What is 100% Remy hair?
A: Remy hair refers to they method the hair is collected by. It ensures the cuticles are kept intact and aligned in the same direction, which helps prevent tangling and breakage.

Q: Is Remy hair good quality?

A: Yes! Remy hair is high-quality, real human hair which is collected from a single donor. It looks natural and healthy and can be heat-styled or colored-just like your own hair.

Q: Why does the wave or curl look different straight out of the bag than on the website?
A: Don’t worry-it just needs a little refresh! Simply mist the hair with water, use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to define the texture, and let it air dry. That’s it!

Q: Can I bleach the hair?
A: We don’t recommend bleaching, as the hair has already gone through a coloring and texturizing process. For a lighter shade, it's best to purchase a level up and tone it down to your desired color.

Q: I need a different shade of lace. What should I do?
A: It can be tricky to find stock wigs with pre-tinted lace. That’s why Set Ready offers a refronting service, where we replace the lace front with a tinted option to better match your actor’s skin tone. Contact us for more info or to request this service.

Q: I don’t know what curl pattern Im looking for.

Q: What is your return Policy?

A: We offer exchanges on products that are in their original condition (no cut lace, hair remains uncut and undyed). Product must be returned within 30 days in original packaging. We are not able to offer refunds, all sales are final.
